Sexual Assault Prevention Strategic Plan (SAPSP)

UNI created a plan to develop, support and sustain an innovative, quality and successful framework for addressing sexual misconduct prevention in a consistent, collaborative and effective manner in order to reduce the risk of sexual misconduct throughout the university.

Below is a list of specific strategies OCRC has done and/or is doing in areas of campus education, communication and climate to prevent sexual misconduct.

Strategy 1: Campus Education

Goal: Advance consistent prevention strategies to end sexual misconduct

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Provide Greek organizations training that addresses sexual misconduct, bystander intervention, rape culture, and impacts of trauma
  • Empower student athletes through education and involvement to effect positive culture change within their teams and across campus
  • Promote and provide bystander intervention education/training opportunities for all students and employees through Green Dot workshops
  • Reinforce bystander concepts through follow-up workshops and trainings

Current Programs:
